This role will support the team in some of the following areas:

  • Content creation, planning, budgeting, day to day execution and performance tracking across all social media channels, both internal and external.
  • Assistance in content creation for team meetings, training programs and internal communication platforms
  • Oversee the brand tone of voice through EDM’s, website, social media, menu and any other copy
  • Developing & delivering fresh and creative campaigns, design ideas and other creative input.
  • Assist with general administration and marketing tasks
  • Ongoing maintenance of the website and other online listings
  • General assistance to the wider support office team including the organisation of key cultural events

Who are you:

  • You love all social media platforms and have an understanding of how they work, in both an organic and paid format
  • You thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. With the ability to multitask, you are self-motivated and can work independently but love nothing more than a buzzing team environment
  • You are well organised, creative AF with an attention to detail and laser-like focus on the end goal
  • You have a love for copywriting with the ability to nail our tone of voice
  • A high level of drive (both personally and for Fonda), with a willingness to get their hands dirty with tasks that may not be their direct responsibility
  • Being a foodie and loving Mexican food will definitely give you a helping hand
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
  • A qualification in marketing/communications/design would be great but not essential

We have 9 locations across Victoria, NSW & ACT and are looking for an awesome Kitchen Manager (Chef) to join our team.

Now, here’s where you come in:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen, whether you're there or not
  • Leading by example and demonstrating best-practice at all of our back-of-house stations
  • Write rosters, regular meetings with the Leadership team, understanding and managing COG's
  • Deliver fresh, delicious and high-quality dishes that exceed expectations and leave people wanting more
  • Ensure all dishes are plated-up on time and to perfection – because every dish should be *chef’s kiss*
  • Inspire epic guest reviews through the serving of high-quality dishes that nail both taste and presentation points
  • Adhering to food safety plan and completing food safety records when required
  • Take pride in the details, especially during busy times
  • Make sure the kitchen is kept squeaky clean
  • Ensure minimal food wastage and zero 'out-of-stock' situations
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to all team members
  • Stocktake at the end of shift, placing orders, checking quantity and quality of deliveries

Requirements

  • An ambition for hospitality management
  • 3 years experience in like kitchens, or 2 years experience and a Diploma or higher qualification in Cookery
  • An interest in the smooth operation of a kitchen
  • A current Certificate in Food Safety Supervision
  • Possess a current legal right to work in Australia
  • Can work weekends, late nights, and all the public holidays
